Dracma Token
Dracma Token
Dracma (DMS) is the native utility token of the Empoorio Ecosystem, powering the decentralized infrastructure that KryptoOS relies on for secure, immutable identity management.
Role in KryptoOS
In the context of Self-Sovereign Identity, Dracma serves several critical functions:
1. Transaction Fees (Gas)
Every write operation on the EmpoorioChain requires a small fee in Dracma. This includes:
- Registering a new DID
- Updating a DID Document
- Anchoring a Verifiable Credential hash
- Managing revocation lists
2. Network Security
Dracma is used for staking by validators who secure the network where your identity data is anchored. This ensures the 24/7 availability and immutability of the DID Registry.
3. Governance
Token holders can participate in the governance of the identity protocols, voting on upgrades to the DID method and core SSI pallets through DAOtonomos.
Utility at a Glance
| Operation | Purpose | Requirement |
|---|---|---|
| DID Registration | Create identity | ~0.1 DMS |
| VC Anchoring | Prove authenticity | ~0.03 DMS |
| Governance | Vote on changes | 1 DMS (Min) |
Getting Dracma
To interact with the KryptoOS mainnet, developers and users need to acquire Dracma tokens.
- Native (EmpoorioChain): The primary form of the token is native DMS.
- Testnet: Test DMS is available through the official ecosystem faucet when enabled.
- Mainnet: there is no mainnet yet, and DMS is not listed on any exchange.
- Wrapped (EVM): there is a
wDMSERC-20 on the Sepolia testnet only (0x6ECe3C24eD2566dA98cdD3808971f62C31F3457B). It is not backed: the bridge escrow holds zero DMS, so the 215,026,057 wDMS in existence represent nothing at all. It is a test artefact. It is not available on Ethereum mainnet or on BSC, and it must not be treated as DMS.
